Position Summary

Overall responsibility for managing Build Up MH operations, including monitoring all related activities. Ensure that service quality meets both customer requirements and company objectives. Oversee operations to achieve quality targets and maximize cargo uplift on all flights. Plan and ensure all work complies with regulations from ICAO, CAR 1996, IATA, and other relevant authorities. Additionally, motivate and develop staff potential while maintaining discipline through effective guidance and counseling to achieve high levels of productivity.

Key Accountability

This role involves planning, developing, organizing, and managing all MH Warehouse Export Operations at MAB Advanced Cargo Centre, KLIA, to consistently meet established standards and achieve high customer satisfaction. To support the Manager Cargo Warehouse Handling in overseeing the Build Up MH freighter, wide-body, and narrow-body handling operations within the warehouse. Ensuring efficient and safe warehouse operations is a key responsibility, along with implementing improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and safety. The position provides direct guidance to senior officers and officer staff on operational matters and serves as the primary contact for any escalations related to MH operations. Close collaboration with the Manager of Cargo Warehouse Handling is essential to maintain operational standards. The role entails coordinating training programs, supervising staff performance, and ensuring effective resource management. It also includes approving overtime, claims, and leave requests, managing staff movements, and monitoring any disciplinary issues or misconduct within the team. Other tasks may be assigned by superiors as needed.

Qualification & Working Experience

Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Aviation Management, Business Administration, or a related field. Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience in cargo handling, warehouse operations, or airfreight management.

Areas of Experience

Knowledge in Handling of Cargo Knowledge in CMS-LMS System / CMS-CWIS System Knowledge in air cargo documentation and messaging transmission in cargo systems Experience specifically with build-up operations for freighters, wide-body, and narrow-body aircraft is highly preferred. Supervisory or leadership experience in operational roles is an advantage
