Job Description

We are looking for an analytical and driven individual to execute buying operations. This role will challenge you to be detailed oriented while proactively providing feedback and inputs on area of improvement relating of the procurement system.

Responsibilities:

Non-Trade Procurement

Ensure tracker is clean & updated daily, no overlooked PR conversion.

Ensure PO conversion in SAP is good before send to Approver (material code, ETA, Purchasing Group, quotation, cost price etc.) within 1 working day; manage, review, update and maintain PO until they are closed.

Reviewing Reports prepared by team member before sharing it internally or to stakeholder.

Review Vendor\xe2\x80\x99s comparison price (canvass sheet) \xe2\x80\x93 sourced by the team.

All queries are answered in a proper manner, sufficient information provided to stakeholders.

To guide the new/ existing team member on the latest/ updated process flow/ any enhancement or new skills

Discuss with stakeholder on the issue/ pain points raised by team members.

Educating existing requestors or new requestors from time to on the process flow.

Ensure all purchasing activities are in accordance with company\xe2\x80\x99s policy, procedures, and compliance with internal control standards.

Ensuring pending issue is being follow up via email & skype & updated with status in tracker \xe2\x80\x93 pending vendor creation, pending PO conversion, pending to be GR, pending PO approval, BPO yet raise.

Escalate urgent issues to Manager or Associate Director which require immediate solution whenever necessary.

Assisting in ad hoc tasks assigned

Develop clear change strategies/ improvement points.

Looking out for potential Vendor for Sourcing, Transactions to be falls under non-Trade.

Requirements:

At least 2-3 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.

Good understanding of procurement processes and practices

Fluent in English (verbal and written communication) is a must.

Detail oriented, good negotiation skills, high sense of urgency (follow-up skills), rapport-building skills

Good problem-solving skills

Experience in cost-saving activities exercises for the Company will be an added advantage.

Experienced in SAP will be an added advantage.
