Job Purpose

Assist the Lead of Analytics Team to ensure Analytics and Digital Transformation solutions are promptly delivered.

Dashboard and Analytics

• Work with stakeholders to identify and fulfill analytics needs to drive business further.
• Develop robust understanding of Sime Darby Property\'s business and data landscape
• Advise business users in analytics related queries.
• Develop and enhance dashboard solutions to effectively deliver results of analytics to business users.
• Maintain and support existing dashboard operations.
• Collaborate among and support colleagues in the Analytics Team and Digital Transformation & IT Department for solving business challenges.

Job Responsibilities

Dashboard and Analytics

• Participates in business problem and requirement understanding.
• Converts business analytics requirements into technical specifications
• Design and develop prototype of dashboards using Microsoft Power BI to effectively communicate analytics results and reports to business users.
• Implement, test and rollout Microsoft Power BI dashboards to business users.
• Identifies, researches, and resolves technical problem related to Microsoft Power BI.
• Assists in establishing standard operating procedures, policies, and best practices for the implementation of dashboard solutions centered around Power BI and Microsoft\'s suite of products.

Education/Professional Qualification

Bachelor\'s or Master\'s degree in Business Intelligence and Analytics, IT, Information Systems, Computer Science, Statistics, Business Information Technology, or any other related fields of study.

Professional Experience

Technical Experience

• Having at least 2 years working experience and proficient in developing and maintaining dashboards in Power BI.
• Having at least 2 years working experience in writing DAX queries and functions in Power BI.
• Proficient in performing data transformation in Power BI.
• Problem-solving and data analytical skills.
• Basic understanding of the Power BI portal and architecture.

Added Advantages

• Understanding and work experience in consuming Data Warehouse data.
• Experience in working with Microsoft Azure or other major cloud service providers.
• Experience with QlikView or other dashboarding tools.
• Having interest / working experience in the Property Development industry is an advantage.
