Negotiate terms, pricing, and contracts with clients to maximize revenue and profitability.
Product Knowledge and Expertise
Maintain a deep understanding of derivatives products, including futures, options and CFD.
Stay abreast of market trends, volatility patterns, and regulatory changes affecting derivatives markets.
Provide clients with expert advice on derivatives strategies, pricing, and risk management techniques.
Customize derivatives solutions to meet the specific needs and objectives of institutional clients.
Trade Execution and Risk Management
Facilitate the execution of derivatives transactions for institutional clients, ensuring efficient order handling and trade execution.
Work closely with trading desks, structuring teams, and risk management functions to execute trades in accordance with client instructions and market conditions.
Monitor and manage counterparty credit risk, market risk, and liquidity risk associated with derivatives transactions.
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal controls governing derivatives trading activities.
Performance Monitoring and Reporting
Track and analyze sales performance, trading volumes, and market share in derivatives product.
Prepare regular reports and presentations for management and clients, summarizing derivatives sales activities, revenue generation, and market insights.
Evaluate the effectiveness of derivatives sales strategies and initiatives, identifying areas for improvement and optimization.
Job Requirements:
Possess a recognised Degree in Business Studies/ Administration/ Management, Commerce, Economics, Finance/ Accountancy/ Banking, Marketing or equivalent qualification.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in local & foreign derivatives trading, possess valid Derivatives License (Module 14 & 16).
Deep understanding of derivatives products, markets, and trading strategies.
Strong sales, negotiation, and communication skills.
Analytical mindset with the ability to assess complex financial situations and recommend appropriate derivatives solutions.
Knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance standards applicable to derivatives trading.
Proficiency in relevant software and tools for sales tracking, risk management, and trade execution.
Requires a blend of sales expertise, derivatives product knowledge, and risk management proficiency to effectively serve the needs of institutional clients and drive derivatives sales revenue for the institution.
