Job Description

To carry out Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP) and Water Treatment Plant (WTP) daily operation, analysis and control. Optimize operation and performance of WWTP and WTP in most efficient manner and met all required KPI. Assist other Shift Executive in Utility Plant Operation as and when required.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for the operation and analysis of WWTP and WTP.

• To carry out WWTP daily operation and analysis.
• To carry out WTP daily operation and analysis.
• Prepare monthly report and DOE report for WWTP.
• Order chemicals and test kits for analysis (WWTP and WTP).
• Send sample for external / internal lab analysis (WWTP and WTP).
• To carry out calibration and cleaning of instruments.
• To supervise the contract worker on the daily activities especially operation of Dewatering Plant.
• To ensure proper practice at place of work and compliance with safety rules and procedures.
• To ensure WWTP met legal compliance on final discharge at all times.
• Development, implementation and facilitation of continuous improvement initiatives through Carlsberg Excellence.
• To assist other Shift Executive in Utilities Operation as and when required.
• To assist Utilities Manager / Utilities Leads on day shift on utilities KPI updating and reporting.
• Any other functions as directed from time to time.

Requirements:

• With a Bachelor's Degree in Science or Chemical Engineering.
• Competent person certificate for WWTP operation from DOE (Certified Environmental Professionals in the Operation of Industrial Effluent Treatment Systems (Biological Processes) (CePIETSO-BP)) and Chargeman Certificate AO level are mandatory.
• Boilermen Certificate will be an added advantage.
• At least 2 years relevant working experience.

• Keeping superior and subordinates informed.
• Open minds and good listeners.
• Provide direction and support.
