If you are looking to excel and make a difference, take a closer look at us Overview The Senior Executive/ Executive, Compliance (Assurance) will supports the Manager, Compliance (Assurance) to develop a robust Compliance Independent Review (CIR) framework. The framework is to independently assess the Business / Support units (or functions)\'s compliance to regulatory requirements. Job Responsibilities To perform validation of various statistical reports of regulatory bodies. Assist in the independent validation on the business and support processes at operational level aligning with regulatory requirements. Map and review key regulatory requirements of other financial markets where the bank operates to compare against industry better practices. Provide recommendations of corrective measures to be adopted by Business and Support Units as internal controls to address regulatory requirements. Report on areas of improvement needed. Subsequently, follow up and ensure closure of issues. Keep abreast of new legal regulatory and material regulatory changes, new developments and international better practices on Regulatory Compliance and validate to ensure requirements are embedded into the business processes Updates regulations impacting the department and division. Perform gap analysis of the regulatory requirement and actual processes where required. Assist the Manager in monitoring and collating responses needed by collaborating with stakeholders. Assist in submission of relevant regulatory compliance reports to regulatory bodies on compliance matters. Assist the Manager in any ad-hoc tasks to support the completion of Regulatory Compliance tasks/projects assigned. Job Requirement Malaysian Citizen Bachelor\'s Degree holder in Business/Accounting/Laws or any equivalent Good command in English speaking and writing
