This company is a global commodity warehousing and logistics business. they specialise in handling, storage and processing of commodities. Their global head office is located in Zug, Switzerland. The Regional Head Office for the Asia Pacific business is in Singapore and is responsible for China, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Malaysia, South Korea, Taiwan, Thailand, and Vietnam etc.

What you will be responsible for:

• Analyse the operations processes/data to evaluate and revise internal controls and operational procedures.
• Coordination and liaison with regional affiliates on HSE and other corporate data.
• Develop internal audit on HSE and Operations-related processes.
• Assist in operations model design/improvement using research and data analysis.
• Create policies, procedures and control assessments in response to identified risks.
• Provide support, education, training and technical support to management and employees regarding risk management strategies and programs.
• Support site surveys and conduct due diligence checks to evaluate the feasibility of proposed projects.
• Maintain reports of significant risks and recommendations.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of the company\'s internal control framework in addressing risks and accomplishing the company\xe2\x80\x99s goals and objectives.
• Frequent travel within the region required.
• Reinforce company Group culture, values and reputation.
• Ensure compliance to Company Policies.

What you need to be successful in this role:

• Experience in HSE and projects.
• Process Improvement Experience
• Experience and certification in HSE a plus.
• Good analytical communication skills.
• Advanced practical computer knowledge (Project, Visio, Excel, Word and PowerPoint).
• Ability to work on cross-functional and multicultural teams.
• Process design, validation and auditing (e.g., ISO)
• Risk Assessment and Management
• Knowledge in warehousing scorecard
• Experience in the logistics and commodities sectors
• Independent and able to lead a team.
