KEY ACCOUNTABILITES:

1. Manage structured assurance and inspection activities across SEB Group to assess the implementation of procurement policy and procedures in practice
2. Lead and coach colleagues in various departments to build their capabilities to perform self- assurance for governance vigilance
3. Create awareness, advises, and asserts influence on stakeholders to comply with procurement policies and procedures
4. Provide recommendation and advisory to Head of Department/Business Unit on compliance related to Procurement Policies and Procedures (PPP)
5. Identify weaknesses, review, and offer recommendations or alternatives solutions for process improvement that create added value
6. Advisory role in procurement policy development and formulation of strategy
7. Representing the Contract and Procurement Department in direct negotiation sessions for various departments to ensure adherence to governance and provides commercial value
8. Perform data analytic to unlock the value from statistic of non-compliance findings to prioritize on areas poses higher risks and to address the risk accordingly
9. Assist in managing the overall Consequence Management Evaluation Committee Meetings process including pre-meeting and post-meeting administration and to draft the minutes of meeting within required timeline with clarity to be circulated to committee members
10. Provide professional level of support and advisory role to the various function and processes in the capacity as secretary to Consequence Management Evaluation Committee Meetings
12. Provide support to Risk Controller in coordination of day-to-day risk management and the implementation of Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) Framework and programs
13. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to achieve objectives and results in line with Sarawak Energy strategic objectives and compliance of procurement policies
14. Leverage on the use of technology and e-commerce strategies for efficient and effective procurement assurance assessment

SPECIAL ASPECTS/MAJOR CHALLENGES OF THE JOB:

1. Recognized Bachelor\'s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, Business Management, Economics, Law, Engineering, Mathematic or related fields with at least 8-10 years of related experience in any or combination of the following:
i.Procurement
ii.Contract management
iii.Audit
iv.Risk Management
v.Business & Process Improvement
vi.Consequence Management
2. Analytical & Quantitative background is preferred.

THINKING ENVIRONMENT & CHALLENGES:

  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills to effectively assess procurement processes, identify relevant risks and propose feasible solutions.

  • Possess high level of integrity and objectivity.
  • To perform all the tasks in line with the Information Security Management System (ISMS), Information Governance Policy Suite and Guidelines roles & responsibilities procedure.
