Corporate Services plays a key role in managing the Corporate Real Estate and Work Space Environment for the Bank. Corporate Services are involved in project management, branch network development and design, facilities management, environmental and energy monitoring, fixed asset administration as well as being the custodian role of the property/premises expenditure planning for the Bank.
We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our team as Senior Facilities Management & Security Manager.
The role holder is involved in all aspects of the management of Facilities Management and Security in all Bank facilities in Malaysia and will work interactively with internal colleagues to reach an acceptable and defensible risk assessment on a variety of issues.
Principal responsibilities
\xc2\xb7 Operationally oversee all Facilities Management (FM) and Physical Security (PS) activity in the Bank.
\xc2\xb7 Manage the response and resolution to any material security or FM related building incidents.
\xc2\xb7 Manage PS and FM team including relationship with Third Party vendors and strategic partners.
\xc2\xb7 Provide clear operational direction in line with Group strategy.
\xc2\xb7 Build trusting relationships with key stakeholders based on a common understanding of roles and responsibilities.
\xc2\xb7 SME for Protective Security
\xc2\xb7 Ensure the PS team works in alignment with global and regional policy, Protective Security standards and applicable local regulations.
Requirements
\xc2\xb7 Extensive knowledge of HSBC\xe2\x80\x99s structure, its processes and dependencies.
\xc2\xb7 Significant FM and/or security management knowledge, understanding and practical experience.
\xc2\xb7 Detailed understanding of building unavailability, health and safety and security controls, techniques and their application.
\xc2\xb7 Significant awareness of third-party influences on our ability to operate.
\xc2\xb7 Strong presentation skills and ability to communicate and negotiate with all levels of management.
\xc2\xb7 Ability to be a self-starter and an advanced thinker.
\xc2\xb7 Exceptional organizational and planning skill.
\xc2\xb7 Relevant industry qualifications and relevant membership to professional bodies.
Subject to local laws, this will require the individual to satisfactorily pass a series of additional checks as part of the recruitment process and on an ongoing basis, if appointed to the role.
