Job Description

You\'ll be reporting directly to the CFO and managing the group reporting function of the business.

• To lead and manage the Business Partners of the respective subsidiaries within the Group for various financial reporting
• To work closely with the finance operations team which include tax, treasury, payroll, AP, credit control, billing etc to complete various routine
• To manage the preparation of monthly Group Consolidated Financial Reports
• Coordinate & consolidate Group budgeting & planning process
• To lead analysis of the Group\'s performance and variances for monthly, quarterly and budget reports
• Ensure transactions are properly accounted for in accordance with the accounting standards
• Prepare statutory reports such as quarterly announcement to Bursa Malaysia and Year End Reporting
• Oversee and handle the Group\'s audit and prepare the Group and holding company\'s Audited Financial Statement
• To participate in the preparation of the Group\'s Annual Reports
• To liaise with external auditors and other external parties including regulatory bodies on accounting related matters
• To participate and provide insights on new projects, including managing the preparation of financial simulations
• To manage and provide insights to improve the internal processes for a more efficient workflow
• Allocate resources and handle ad-hoc reporting requirement

PLC|Good career progression

• Degree in Finance & Accounting
• Preferably with professional qualifications (ICAEW/ACCA/CPA/MIA)
• Minimum 8 years of managerial roles in finance/accounting department, experience in PLC and audit firms.
• Able to work independently within tight deadlines and can adapt well in a fast paced environment.
• Familiar with requirements of MFRS, SAP system
• Good command of English and report writing skills
• Strong stakeholder management
