I am hiring on behalf of my client: an experienced
Senior Finance Manager
to lead the financial operations of my client's hospital. This critical leadership role is responsible for financial strategy, regulatory compliance, and operational efficiency, ensuring sustainable financial health in alignment with healthcare industry standards.
You will work closely with clinical and operational teams to support strategic planning, patient care financing, and cost control. This role reports directly to the
Regional CEO
and plays a key part in business development, risk management, and performance analytics.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage the Finance team to deliver timely and accurate financial reports, budgets, and forecasts.
Oversee core financial functions: billing, collections, payroll, accounts payable/receivable.
Ensure compliance with financial regulations, tax laws, and healthcare reporting standards.
Monitor and manage cash flow, operating costs, and capital expenditure.
Partner with clinical and operational units to implement cost control without compromising patient care.
Analyze financial KPIs: revenue per patient, departmental efficiency, and occupancy rates.
Provide strategic financial insights to senior management for planning and decision-making.
Liaise with auditors, tax agents, banks, insurers, and regulatory authorities.
Strengthen internal financial systems, controls, and audit readiness.
Support business development projects including service expansion and partnership evaluations.
Core Requirements
1.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Professional certification (e.g., ACCA, CPA, CIMA) preferred.
Master's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or Healthcare Management is an advantage.
Malaysian Citizen
2. Experience
8-10 years of progressive finance experience, with 3-5 years in a managerial role.
Proven background in hospital or healthcare finance is
mandatory
.
Strong knowledge of medical billing systems, claims (insurance/TPA), and healthcare financing.
Exposure to CAPEX planning for medical facilities and healthcare operations.

Strong analytical skills and proficiency in healthcare KPI interpretation.
