Nature and aim of the position

The holder of this position reports to the Finance Manager and is responsible for the accounting, tax, SOX, internal and external reporting for the Global Blue\xe2\x80\x99s (GB) operations in various countries as indicated above. There may be new entities added to the scope as the GB business expands.

Main duties and responsibilities

\xc2\xb7 Manage monthly, quarterly and annual closing and internal reporting which includes the preparation of P&L and BS commentary, management reporting pack, etc.

\xc2\xb7 Manage project accounting and reporting

\xc2\xb7 Review and approve journals

\xc2\xb7 Prepare and review SOX control workpapers for controls in scope

\xc2\xb7 Prepare quarterly tax calculations and support annual review

\xc2\xb7 Prepare and assist with tax compliance

\xc2\xb7 Prepare statutory accounts

\xc2\xb7 Assist with budget, annual audit, SOX and tax testing

\xc2\xb7 Support projects and initiatives benefitting the operations

\xc2\xb7 Assist with any other local administration tasks as required

\xc2\xb7 Any other ad-hoc requests as required

Qualification

\xc2\xb7 Degree in Finance or Accounting and currently hold a professional accounting qualification

Experience & Competencies

\xc2\xb7 Prior MNC experience is essential (experience working for Australian and / or US listed company is desirable).

\xc2\xb7 Background in audit or previous employment in one of the Big Four is an advantage

\xc2\xb7 Ideally have prior experience on SOX, SAP and HFM

\xc2\xb7 Australian tax knowledge is favourable

\xc2\xb7 Excellent written and verbal communication (English fluency is a must)
