Department Overview Business Accounting and MBR is a function within the MSI Finance Operations Center in Penang. MSI Finance Operations Centre is recognized as a trusted partner to customers, suppliers and employees providing excellent service and quality support. Our department supports wide range of Motorola Solutions businesses and operations finance functions across APAC. We are responsible for all related business accounting and compliance reporting, and OPEX controlling and making sure we provide a great level of support to our business partners within APAC in all finance areas.
Conduct quantitative and qualitative analysis on the OPEX for APAC business organizations and build business commentaries for Monthly Budget vs Actual and Forecast.
Performed analysis on spending trends for APAC business organizations.
Monitor forecasting accuracy, develop measurable indicators, highlight trends, and analyze causes of unexpected variances
Acquired budget management skills such as monitoring and controlling the APAC business organization estimates and preparing annual budgets
Support Dept change, creation and estimate effort % updates in EPM
Support Budget loading in EPM
Close collaboration with the respective Dept Managers, Business Budget Champions in driving budget control efficiency
Close collaboration with the respective Organization Managers, Operation Leads, Finance Controllers, and Directors for the International/Global Finance review.
Continuous to drive efficiency opportunities such as reporting & actively contributing to cross-functional initiatives
Any other dept related requests & ad hoc reportings

Basic Requirements
Bachelor\'s Degree in Finance/Accounting or equivalent from an accredited university or college
More than 5 years of experience performing various finance roles
Must be a self-starter who is able to work independently, attention to detail, and be comfortable with ambiguity and interface with all relevant internal teams and external business partners at all times
Ability to manage tasks with high complexities, and tight deadlines, work on multiple assignments, and manage rapidly changing assignments in a team environment
Excellent communication, collaboration skills, and ability to conceptualize
Excellent time management, prioritization and stakeholder management skills
Flexibility to work beyond regular working hours
Advanced MS Excel experience is a plus
Knowledge of Oracle & Business Intelligence tools (Tableau is desirable)
Travel Requirements Under 10%
