Position: Senior Full Stack Developer
Location: VSQ, Petaling Jaya, Selangor
Working Hours: Monday-Friday, 9 am-6 pm
Salary: RM4,000-RM10,000 (Depends on experience; could be discussed) Act as a senior member of the software engineering team responsible for our client-facing systems, databases, internal APIs, Elasticsearch implementation, and other integral systems. To deliver software and systems improvements, new features, and new products on time and match our coding standards. Duties and Responsibilities - Development of market-leading applications scaling to millions of users
- Development of responsive web and mobile applications
- Expand and improve the functionality of existing components and libraries
- Monitoring and operation of production systems
- Optimise, maintain and improve database systems
- Provide estimates of work to be completed
- Advise on technical solutions already available in the market or through open-source projects
- Communication about application logic to other teams
- Presentation of key learnings and expertise to others in the company
- Continually improve code quality and standards
- Write automated tests for our new applications and systems Job Requirements - 5 years of experience in developing web applications for both PC and mobile using PHP, JavaScript, CSS, and MySQL.
- Expert hands-on development and delivery experience with PHP and Laravel
- Solid working experience with database fundamentals, data modelling, and optimization. (MySQL preferred)
- Strong familiarity on frond-end development with React
- Experience architecting large multi-component architectures
- Experience developing robust and secure customer facing systems that handle sensitive data
- Well-versed in REST API design
- Expertise with Cloud Infrastructure (AWS)
- Knowledgeable in DevOps processes and tooling
- Developing microservices (Kubernetes, Docker)
- Familiarity with CI/CD tooling
- Proven ability to create well tested code
- Knowledgeable in version control systems, ideally Git
- Experience working in an Agile environment
- Experience of using development workflow management tools (e.g. Jira)
- Be able to speak, read, and type in English. Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Salary: RM4,000.00 - RM10,000.00 per month Benefits:
