KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

• Undertake studies and assessing sources of site information prior to field investigations
• Overseeing the progress of specific contracts
• Manage geotechnical projects to ensure they are completed in accordance to the specifications and targets
• Carry out works in accordance to the company\'s safety requirements
• Document management and prepare payment certificates
• Collecting data and producing reports
• Review technical reports, evaluate geological-geotechnical parameters and data
• Prepare tender specification/documents and budgets for geotechnical projects
• Responsible for staffing supervision and administration
• Provide coaching for peers and participate actively in promoting Sarawak Energy\'s KFAs (Digitalization, Commercial Excellence and Project Delivery Excellence)

QUALIFICATION:

• Bachelor Degree in Applied Geology or related discipline.
• Minimum of 8-10 years of relevant working experience.
• Registered as professional geologist with Board of Geologist Malaysia.

SKILLS:

• Technical skills in the field of engineering geology & geotechnical
• Able to utilize public databases that contain information about earthquakes and seismicity data, necessary to determine site suitability and hazard level
• Able to work well in team
• Leadership skills with the ability to think strategically and manage change
• Able to perform and analyzing spatial data using GIS and other software programs
• Excellent English communication and presentation skills including report writing
