Responsibilities

• Responsible for managing all design projects from concept to delivery

• Schedule projects and define budget constraints.

• Study design briefs, determine requirements and generate creative ideas.

• Prepare rough drafts and present ideas; refine projects and drafts.

• Develop illustrations, logos and other designs using software or by hand.

• Use the appropriate colours and layouts for each graphic.

• Work with copywriters and creative director to produce final design.

• Amend designs after feedback.

• Test graphics across various media.

• Ensure final graphics and layouts are visually appealing and on-brand.

• Conceptualizing visuals based on requirements.

• Oversee all design projects, photography and styling including sharing creative ideas with the PR & Digital team.

• Ensure all inventory of photoshoot/styling items are updated for clients & Company.

• Creating mood boards / storyboards for each client as necessary and before each shoot.

• Participate in discussions and working on briefs with PR & Digital team based on client needs.

• Develop creative strategies & proposals for client visual communications needs and concept art.

• Work closely and train/coach junior designer and review works to ensure quality and standards are met.

• At least 5 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience as a graphic designer.

• Experience in implementing marketing campaigns

• Familiarity with design software and technologies (such as InDesign, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, Photoshop and Lightroom).

• A keen eye for aesthetics and details.

• A strong portfolio of illustrations or other graphics.

• Animation skills an added advantage.

• Excellent communication skills.

• Ability to work methodically and meet deadlines.

• Degree in Design, Multimedia, Arts or related field is a plus.

• Ability to work well independently and as a team, as well as to meet tight deadlines while working on multiples assignments.

• Must have experience or capability in photography.

• Ability to multitask and communicate with team members to reliably carry out projects.

• Good command of spoken and written English and Bahasa Malaysia.

• Good attitude and ability to work well under stress is a MUST.

• Willing to work on extended hours when needed.
