A Senior HR Business Partner (Commercial) job has become available at a well-known multinational organisation in the FMCG industry. About the Senior HR Business Partner (Commercial) Role:
Reporting to the HR Director, you will support one of their key business units in Malaysia with their strategic direction. Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify key candidates who have the right competencies and skill set to support the overall future direction and growth of the business
  • Work with the talent management team to build an effective performance development plan and assist in executing this process to the business units
  • Build and foster strong business relationships with the business unit whilst actively identifying gaps and proposing and implementing changes to mitigate and minimise people-related risks
  • Work closely with management and employees to build morale and increase retention and productivity
  • Provide guidance on HR policies, suggest new HR strategies in line with overall business direction
  • Resolve complex employee relations issues and address grievances
  • Act as an adviser directly to the senior leadership on various HR initiatives that will support the business regionally
To succeed in this Senior HR Business Partner (Commercial) role, you need to have proven stakeholder management skills, be agile and open to trying new ideas and initiatives in a fast-paced environment. Key Requirements:
  • Minimum of a bachelor\'s degree
  • At least 10 years of experience in human resources
  • Solid work knowledge around change management, talent management, strategic HR business partnering
  • Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to speak to senior stakeholders and weigh in on strategic decisions
  • Effective in managing conflicts and resolving problems, ideally before issues become problems
