Job Mission

Act as HR Business Partner to the regional/local management and as functional leader for all HR

colleagues within the SEA region. Supporting leaders in their efforts to develop their team and

organization, including identifying and attracting talents. Contribute to designing new HR concepts

together with the global HR community to further drive HR Excellence.

The position incumbent is a well-seasoned professional who has a strong strategic perspective

paired with a broad operational HR experience as well as experience in working in a MNC.

Essential Functions :

  • Act as HR business partner to the top management
  • Assume role as key member of the regional leading team and jointly develop vision and initiatives
for the organization with the rest of the colleagues
  • Drive further organizational development as per the agreed strategic direction
  • Propose and implement HR roadmap in alignment with overarching business strategy
  • Set strategic & conceptual guidance on multiple HR topics
  • Live the culture of continuous improvement, striving for HR excellence and enhancing policies &
practices based on market standard
  • Develop standard HR tools and define standardized HR practices across the region, with an eye
on future scalability to support the expected organizational growth
  • Ensure proper execution of core employee processes (performance management, L&D,
succession planning, employee relations, talent management)
  • Develop and execute regional talent initiatives in alignment with group talent function
  • Contribute to the group-wide HR community, through co-creation of new HR concepts & products,
participating on global projects and sharing local initiatives and best practices
  • Ensure highest levels of staff engagement to increase productivity and enhance retention
  • Proper headcount planning to predict staffing needs
  • Provide insights to leaders through HR reporting tools and KPIs
  • Functionally lead direct reports in the designated area of responsibility and serve as the major
contact point to regional leadership while strongly co-operating with the shared HR/Admin

resources in the smaller countries
  • Ensure local salary structures are in line with market practices and desired company positioning
in the market; identify, negotiate and defend required budgets in terms of salary, bonus and other

benefits in close collaboration with CEO, CFO and Group HR.
  • Act as an advocate of company culture and values.
  • Ensure the deep and sustainable integration of the groups mission and core values into the local
leadership culture
Requirements
Minimum Qualifications and experience :
  • At least 5-8 years of proven experience as HRBP in multinational companies, responsible for
the business/subdivision located in SEA at country level with exposure to and deep
awareness of other SEA countries in regard to political and cultural specificities
  • Working knowledge in multiple human resource disciplines from compensation & benefits
over recruiting, talent development, L&D as well as Labor Law
  • Practical experience in building and managing remote teams and establishing a teams spirit /
culture ("one HR")
  • Comfortable with managing employees remotely and leading the company culture towards
an era of flexible work arrangements
  • Hands-on approach: operational person who is ready not only to lead a team but to be a
reliable backup for it, to work together and contribute to the team
  • Ability for team building, people development and change management are among other
important personal attributes Verbal intelligence, efficiency in business correspondence
Aptitude (role specific skills required for success)
  • Knowledge of legal frameworks and common principles and differences among the
employment laws of the SEA countries
  • Experience with working in international matrix environments.
  • Experience with SAP Success Factors is preferable
