POSITION OVERVIEW:

As Nexperia continues its strong growth, we are looking for suitable professionals to lead and support the HR Director in managing the HR operations and services role for Nexperia Malaysia. The ideal candidate will be involved in leading the day-to-day HR functions, both operationally and in developing strategic HR plans to drive the people agenda and meet the company\'s expectations for people.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible for leading and driving all aspects of HR services and operations at Nexperia Malaysia and collaborating with the leadership team on HR services strategy, design and implementation, and operations planning and execution.
  • Providing proactive, professional advice and hands-on experience on employee relations issues, including employment, performance management, absenteeism, discipline and grievance matters.
  • Resolving complex human resources and employee relations issues involving key stakeholders and taking into account the broader business context and external factors.
  • Serves as HR subject matter expert to managers and ensures HR practises comply with regulatory requirements.
  • Uses experience and expertise to research solutions and recommend policy changes to support business needs and outline business implications and risks related to labour relations, including ethical, legal, and regulatory requirements, and oversees risk management
  • Covers a broad spectrum of HR - employee relations and labour relations as well as employee services - cafeteria, clinic management, foreign employees, dormitory, employee transportation and laundry management.


JOB SPECIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor\'s Degree in Human Resource Management / Psychology and/or Business Administration and/or other related discipline.
  • Min. 10 years of experience as a HR generalist in a large manufacturing environment, preferably in the semiconductor industry.
  • Extensive and proven HR experience as a business partner in a fast-paced, collaborative work environment.
  • Experience working with the operational HR and enterprise landscape
  • Expected skills include analytical skills, problem solving skills, collaborative skills, use of traditional/digital media, communication planning, and good knowledge of government agencies and policies.
  • Ability to navigate a VUCA (Volatile, Uncertain, Complex and Ambiguous) environment.
  • Self-motivated, self-confident, stress resistant.
