enior Human Resource Manager in leading and executing company-wide HR strategies, operations, and people-development initiatives. This role acts as second-in-command within the HR division and plays a crucial part in driving workforce effectiveness, organizational development, and HR compliance across all business units.
Key Responsibilities1. Strategic HR Leadership
Support the HR Director in planning and executing HR strategies aligned with organizational goals.
Represent HR leadership in the Director's absence and ensure continuity of HR operations.
2. HR Operations Management
Oversee end-to-end HR operations including recruitment, performance management, compensation & benefits, training, and HR compliance.
Ensure HR processes run efficiently and adhere to internal policies and governance standards.
3. Employee Relations & Engagement
Handle complex employee relations cases and support grievance resolution.
Promote a healthy and engaging work environment through effective communication and engagement initiatives.
4. Talent Management & Succession Planning
Support talent development programs, performance reviews, and leadership pipeline initiatives.
Drive succession planning activities to ensure workforce continuity and readiness.
5. HR Policy, Compliance & Governance
Review, enhance, and enforce HR policies in line with Malaysian labor laws and corporate requirements.
Ensure compliance with organizational governance, ISO standards, and SHE requirements.
6. Training, OD & Cultural Development
Coordinate training and leadership development plans.
Support cultural transformation and organizational development projects.
7. HR Analytics & Reporting
Track HR KPIs, metrics, and workforce trends to provide insights for management decisions.
8. Team Leadership
Mentor, guide, and supervise HR managers and executives to build a high-performing HR team.
9. Risk Management
Identify HR-related risks and support the implementation of preventive and corrective measures.
10. Cross-Department Collaboration
Partner with business units to align HR programs with organizational strategies and operational needs.
RequirementsEducation
Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or related field.
Experience
Minimum
10-12 years
in HR management, with at least
5 years in a managerial or leadership role
within a medium to large organization.
Skills & Knowledge
Strong understanding of
Malaysian labor laws
and HR compliance.
Expertise in HR operations, employee engagement, organizational development, and performance management.
Proficiency in HRIS systems and HR data reporting.
