+ 8-10 years of HR experience, with at least 3-5 years specializing in
visa, work permit, or global mobility management

+ Strong knowledge of
Malaysian immigration laws
and
foreign workforce regulations
(ESD, MDEC, TalentCorp, etc.).
+ Excellent organizational and communication skills, with strong attention to detail.
+ Experience in managing expatriate employees and dealing with government agencies.
+ Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders and tight deadlines.
+ HR certifications (e.g., MIHRM, SHRM, CIPD) are an advantage.
Responsibilities:
Key Responsibilities
+ Lead and manage visa, work permit, and employment pass applications, renewals, and cancellations for local and foreign employees.
+ Ensure full compliance with Malaysian immigration laws, statutory requirements, and company policies.
+ Liaise with government authorities (e.g., Immigration Department, MDEC, ESD, and MYXpats) on work pass matters.
+ Develop and implement immigration policies and best practices to ensure smooth onboarding of expatriate employees.
+ Oversee end-to-end employee mobility processes, including relocation, repatriation, and assignment management.
+ Advise management and employees on visa regulations, timelines, and potential risks.
+ Partner with Talent Acquisition and Business Units to forecast visa needs and workforce planning.
+ Maintain accurate visa tracking databases and prepare reports for audits and compliance reviews.
+ Manage relationships with external visa agents, relocation partners, and government stakeholders.
+ Provide training and guidance to HR team members on visa and mobility policies.
