Ooi Design & Associates Sdn Bhd is a well-established, registered interior design company, currently searching for new team members to join us in producing high-quality design projects. Your contribution will add value to the team and the end product, directly impacting our customer satisfaction and profits!.

Your role will include the following:

• Checking tender/construction drawings & specifications in compliance with industry standards and OD&A\xe2\x80\x99s drawing standard
• Checking construction drawings & specifications compliance with design concepts
• Mentoring & conducting regular training for junior staff including conducting visits to project sites & factories
• Upkeep & update CAD Library & technical drawing standard details
• Supervising maintenance & upkeep of the material library

Qualifications and skills:

• Candidate must possess at least a Diploma/Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or related fields
• Registered Interior Designer or Architect with Interior Design skills is preferable
• Possess work experience of at least 5 years
• Experienced in Drafting/Interior construction detailing

Advanced technical skills in AutoCAD, 3D Max, Sketchup, Photoshop & Microsoft office * Being well versed in ISO procedures is an added advantage

• Fluency in Chinese to communicate with suppliers & contractors
• Able to work independently and meet deadlines
• Good presentation skills, able to communicate openly & directly, verbally & in writing, with team members & clients
• High level of professional integrity, honest & self-confident, and willing to share knowledge & ideas
• Highly driven & passionate about design and personal improvement
