Key Responsibilities

System & Server Administration

Deploy, configure, and maintain server operating systems and enterprise applications (Windows Server, Linux). Monitor system performance, conduct root cause analysis, and resolve issues proactively. Administer Microsoft Active Directory, and other enterprise services. Create and manage home directories and group policies using PowerShell scripting. Monitor and manage patch deployment through professional patch management tool. Manage disaster recovery procedures. Deploy and configure Windows and SQL Server clusters. Administer and maintain NetApp SAN storage and SAN switches.

Virtualization & Cloud

Install, configure, and manage Hyper-V and VMware virtual environments. Support virtual clustering and perform troubleshooting in virtualized systems. Assist in the integration and administration of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure).

Security & Network

Ensure system integrity through security best practices and routine monitoring. Maintain knowledge of network systems including LAN/WAN and intrusion detection systems. Responsible for infrastructure planning and incident resolution

Support & Documentation

Provide incident support and respond to escalated helpdesk tickets. Document system configurations, procedures, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Coordinate support with external service providers as needed. Provide support for ISO, SOX, and customer audits, including documentation and evidence preparation.

Project Work & Collaboration

Lead and support enterprise-level technology initiatives. Plan, implement, and evaluate server upgrades and system improvements. Participate in departmental meetings and collaborate with cross-functional teams. Willing to travel to remote sites or other regions as needed for on-site system support.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field. Minimum of 5-7 years of relevant experience in managing Windows Server OS (2016 and above), Linux servers, and enterprise computer systems. Proven experience as a Windows System Administrator or in a similar role. Strong knowledge of Windows Server environments and virtualization platforms such as Hyper-V and VMware. Solid understanding of Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell). Proficient in using backup solutions, AD management tools, system monitoring tools, and patch management systems. Working knowledge of SAN storage solutions, specifically NetApp or EMC.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure). Knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server. Experience in troubleshooting basic network connectivity issues.
