This role plays a critical part in ensuring the stability, security, and performance of our global IT infrastructure, with a strong focus on Microsoft 365, endpoint management, identity services, and collaboration platforms. You will act as a senior escalation point (Tier 3), contribute to projects, automate processes, and help drive continuous improvement across IT operations.
Key Responsibilities
IT Support & Operations
Provide Tier 3 technical support for complex IT and Microsoft 365-related issues.
Cover the IT support queue via the service desk, supporting both onsite and remote users globally.
Take full ownership of incidents through to resolution, collaborating with other teams as needed.
Provide remote technical support to global offices using a help desk system for incident management and escalation.
Maintain excellent customer service standards at all times.
Microsoft 365 & Collaboration
Manage and maintain the overall Microsoft 365 tenant configuration, health, and security.
Administer Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, and Microsoft Teams.
Configure Teams policies, voice services, calling plans, meeting configurations, and integrations.
Support OneDrive sync issues and implement Data Loss Prevention (DLP) policies.
Implement governance, compliance, retention, and lifecycle management policies.
Manage user provisioning, deprovisioning, and license allocation.
Administer mail flow, transport rules, email security, and hybrid Exchange configurations.
Monitor and manage Microsoft Defender for Office 365 and Microsoft Purview.
Configure Conditional Access, MFA, audit logs, and compliance features.
Identity, Security & Infrastructure
Support hybrid identity environments using Azure AD / Entra ID, Azure AD Connect, SSO, and MFA.
Administer Active Directory services including GPOs, OU structures, DNS, DHCP, replication, and domain trusts.
Monitor, maintain, and secure all endpoints across Windows, macOS, and Linux.
Deploy and manage devices using Microsoft Intune, including compliance policies, app protection, and Autopilot.
Support endpoint management platforms such as Intune, Jamf, and Endpoint Central.
Administer VMware/vSphere environments and support Windows & Linux servers.
Manage infrastructure services including storage (SAN, NAS, iSCSI, Fibre Channel).
Cloud & Automation
Support cloud technologies including Azure and AWS (EC2, WorkSpaces).
Develop PowerShell and Bash scripts for automation, reporting, and bulk operations.
Utilize Power Automate and Microsoft Graph API for workflow automation.
Generate usage, adoption, and security reports, providing insights and recommendations to improve system usage.
Projects, Documentation & Improvement
Assist with IT infrastructure and software projects of varying sizes.
Work within established configuration and change management policies.
Proactively document all work into the knowledge base.
Identify and report opportunities for process and system improvements.
Provide documentation, training, and mentorship to IT staff and end users.
Test, apply, and validate new software updates and maintenance patches.
Essential Skills & Experience
5+ years of experience managing Microsoft 365 environments.
Strong expertise in Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Microsoft Teams, and Intune.
Deep knowledge of Active Directory and Azure AD, including:
GPOs, OU design, domain trusts, and replication.
User, group, and access management.
DNS and domain troubleshooting.
Experience with hybrid identity and Azure AD Connect synchronization.
Strong PowerShell scripting skills for automation and reporting.
Solid understanding of Conditional Access, MFA, and identity protection.
Experience with compliance tools such as eDiscovery, DLP, and audit logging.
Strong experience supporting Windows, macOS, and Linux operating systems.
VMware/vSphere administration experience.
Knowledge of storage technologies (SAN, NAS, iSCSI, Fibre Channel).
Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS).
Proven troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills.
Experience working in both BAU and project-based environments.
