Job Responsibilities:

• Perform daily system monitoring, verifying the integrity and availability of all hardware, server resources, systems, and key processes, reviewing system and application logs
• Upgrade virtualization systems with new releases and models
• Perform complex troubleshooting and analysis to determine ways to improve the virtualization system\xe2\x80\x99s reliability, scalability, availability and performance
• Design, develop, implement, and coordinate systems, policies, and procedures for virtualization infrastructure
• Identify problematic areas and implement strategic solutions in time for virtualization infrastructure
• Perform security audit of virtualization systems and assess their outcomes
• Secures system by developing system access, monitoring, control, and evaluation; establishing and testing disaster recovery policies and procedures; completing back-ups; maintaining documentation
• Preserve assets, information security and control structures in the virtualization infrastructure.
• Provide input for annual budget and ensure cost effectiveness.
• Participate in project meetings, liaise and participate in meetings with vendors and software providers.
• Monitors and maintains capacity and availability for the virtualization environments
• Protects organization\'s value by keeping information confidential
• Manage information technology and computer systems for virtualization
• Plan, organize, control, and evaluate solution and technologies for virtualization
• Perform daily backup operations monitoring, ensuring all required file systems and system data are successfully backed up to the appropriate media.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s in information technology, computer science, application development, programming, or related degree and/or equivalent work experience
• Proven experience as a Cloud Administrator, Virtualization Administrator, or similar role
• Good knowledge of technical management, information analysis and of virtualization and cloud systems
• Minimum 2 years\xe2\x80\x99 knowledge and experience in managing VMware Virtualization Infrastructures
• Experience and knowledge in cloud administration (Microsoft Azure, Alibaba Cloud, Google Cloud Platform, AWS) would be an added advantage.
• Knowledge of Server Operating Systems including Windows Server 2012, 2012 R2, 2016, 2019 and 2022
• Resourcefulness and problem-solving aptitude.
• Effective communication skills including listening, speaking, and writing
