A leading multinational corporation. With a 3 billion USD worldwide market, it is looking to expand its Malaysia shared services center and hire Regional Senior Procurement/ Senior Sourcing Specialist talents.Responsibilities:

• Engage in strategic sourcing to understand market research and negotiate favorable terms with potential suppliers.
• Evaluate and manage vendor partnerships, including procurement planning, tendering, submission reviews, evaluation methodologies, commercial negotiation, summary generation, and contracting for high-value or risk contracts.
• Leverage data analytics and strategic sourcing principles to assess pricing, commercial modeling, quality, risk, reliability, long-term compatibility, and the intangible value of partnering with vendors.
• Provide procurement guidance on vendor selection, liaising with key internal departments (e.g., Legal, Finance, Security) regarding review requests and identified risks or policy exceptions.
• Direct procurement negotiations based on business requirements and set contract approach and negotiation parameters.
• Raise contract approval requests to relevant business stakeholders and executives, and work with Buyers to raise POs and appropriate on-charges.
• Document business information around spend and impacts on markets/stores as necessary.
• Drive proactive business and stakeholder engagement for existing and upcoming procurement work packages.
• Develop and maintain positive and constructive relationships and feedback mechanisms with internal and external clients, vendors, and staff.
• Evaluate vendor capabilities and performance to ensure they meet our organization's needs.
• Administer contracts and manage the contract lifecycle in collaboration with business stakeholders.
• Ensure contracts are well-drafted and in line with standard DPE positions for compliance and business risk management.
• Maximize the value of engagements for DPE, including identifying cost savings and efficiency improvements in procurement activities.
• Contribute effectively to all aspects of, and where appropriate lead, vendor negotiations including commercial and contract negotiation.
• Manage the contractual relationship and provide end-to-end contractual control.
• Maintain efficient records management practices utilizing appropriate tools.
• Assist in dispute resolution with internal and external clients, vendors, and staff.
• Drive process improvement within the team and with stakeholders.
• Assist in mentoring, resolving questions, and reviewing for team members.

Qualifications:

• Experience in IT SaaS procurement and contract management.
• Deep understanding of commercial contracting legal risks, especially for software and SaaS agreements.
• Extensive knowledge of IT procurement policies and procedures.
• Skilled in risk management for IT procurement.
• Proficient in contract and supplier management, and commercial negotiation techniques.
• Strong experience in developing and negotiating IT contracts, including independent assessment and amendment of supplier terms.
• Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills with demonstrated negotiation abilities.
• Ability to prioritize workload, work independently, and as part of a team.
• Self-motivated, positive, and enthusiastic in achieving goals.
