Compulsory experience Experience with VMWare, Wintel & Linux, scripting, server & storage technology and backup solutions What You Will Do

• \xe2\x80\x8bManage and monitor all installed systems and infrastructure.
• \xe2\x80\x8bInstall, configure, test and maintain operating systems, application software and system management tools.
• \xe2\x80\x8bProactively ensure the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability.
• \xe2\x80\x8bMonitor and test application performance for potential bottlenecks, identify possible solutions, and work with engineers to implement those fixes.
• \xe2\x80\x8bMaintain security, backup, and redundancy strategies.
• \xe2\x80\x8bWrite and maintain custom scripts to increase system efficiency and lower the human intervention time on any tasks.
• \xe2\x80\x8bLiaise with vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolution.

What You Need:

• \xe2\x80\x8bDiploma/Degree in IT/Computer Science/Engineering, preferably Network, Telecommunication. Network certification will be added advantage (Cisco, Network+).
• \xe2\x80\x8bExperienced with the following:

i) VMware product suites (vSphere, VSAN, SRM, vROps)
ii) Wintel and Linux (housekeeping, patching, system maintenance, service process monitoring, user management)
iii) Creating scripts (e.g., using Shell/Bash)
iv) Web Server IIS, Apache
v) Server and storage technology such as HCI, SAN, NAS
vi) Must have experience in backup solution such as Veeam, NetBackup.

• \xe2\x80\x8bExcellent troubleshooting skills including network issue, login issue, etc.
• \xe2\x80\x8bFamiliar with server hardening and CIS checklist.
• \xe2\x80\x8bBasic firewall administration (modify/add new rules).
• \xe2\x80\x8bOpen to Malaysian citizenship holders or equivalent only (no VISA sponsorship provided for the time being).
