Baker Hughes Process & Pipeline Services (PPS) supports full lifecycle of customers\' asset from pre-commissioning to decommissioning. We help to reduce future corrosion, improve efficiency, and maximize throughput. Our solutions for pre-commissioning, commissioning, and maintenance shutdowns include specialized services for Oil & Gas, power generation, metals, and other process industries. Fuel your passion You will be working as part of a wider engineering group to provide technical support to our sales and operations teams. Also developing effective procedures and documentation that are compliant with the latest standards. You will have the opportunity to work on New Product Innovations (NPI) that involve researching and implementing new technologies. As a Senior Joint Integrity Engineer, you will be responsible for: Assisting with development and implementation of global standard practices for mechanical joint integrity and onsite machining (MJI) services including SOPs, standard document templates, procedures, forms, and drawings for all facets of the work Acting as an SME and providing technical support to sales, operations and training groups globally concerning mechanical joint integrity Researching and writing mechanical joint integrity sections of the Engineering Manual, developing equipment specifications and standards for MJI. Working directly with Customers to provide technical consultancy, support, and guidance on MJI projects. Providing support for the Centrum software platform, researching, and developing new technologies and equipment Fuel your passion To be successful in this role you will: Have a bachelor\'s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related Technology discipline or show equivalent, demonstrable work experience. Have a minimum of 5 years of experience mechanical joint integrity, with at least 2 years in an engineering position. Have a moderate understanding of bolted joint calculations and relevant standards. Have good oral and written communication skills, good interpersonal and leadership skills. Be able to influence others and lead small teams, leading initiatives of moderate scope and impact. Be able to coordinate several projects simultaneously. Have proven analytical and organizational ability, effective problem identification and solution skills. In this role, we can offer the following flexible working patterns: Working remotely - The position will be based at a PPS location in the Far East region. However the position will require travel throughout the region and flexibility in work hours to facilitate global communications within the global engineering team.
