Opportunity for a Mandarin and English speaking Legal professional to join a global Top 5 solar high-tech manufacturing company in Kuching, as Legal Manager / Senior Legal Manager.

Work Location : Kuching

Responsibilities & Job Scope:

• Accurately identify, evaluate and prevent legal compliance risks in the company\'s operation and management, and provide comprehensive legal compliance guarantee for the company\'s development
• Provided end-to-end legal support for major projects of the company
• Handled all kinds of daily legal compliance consulting, contract drafting (English and Chinese), review, negotiation, etc.
• Lead the company to handle all kinds of disputes, lawsuits or arbitration cases
• Responsible for contract management, license management, seal management, authorization management, corporate governance and other legal systems
• Degree and process building and continuous improvement
• Conduct business-related legal compliance research and output
• Company legal compliance publicity and training

• Review and negotiate sales and procurement contracts in both Chinese and English languages.
• Develop new contract templates and update existing ones in Chinese and English.
• Perform supplier due diligence as necessary.
• Take charge of all legal procedures involved in establishing a new manufacturing plant, e.g., land acquisition, drafting construction contracts, procuring new machinery, and ensuring compliance with licensing and permit regulations.
• Coordinate corporate secretarial tasks, particularly related to the issuance of new shares.
• Offer legal counsel and assistance concerning employment law issues.

• Bachelor degree or above in law related major from key universities at home and abroad, passed the unified national judicial examination, have the legal Professional Qualification Certificate A;
• More than 10 years of legal work experience, with well-known law firm or large manufacturing company legal work experience, familiar with internal operation mechanism and process;
• Have rich legal professional knowledge and skills and rich legal affairs management and practical experience in China\xef\xbc\x9b
• Have expertise in international law, civil and commercial law research, can independently deal with various legal affairs;
• English can be used as working language, overseas study experience is preferred, legal work experience in foreign enterprises is preferred;
• Strong learning ability, communication and coordination ability, initiative in work and strong execution.
