Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Linux/Middleware Engineer to join the Service Build Engineering - Post Build team. The candidate will be responsible for supporting, maintaining, and optimizing middleware and Linux environments, ensuring stability, performance, and compliance. This role requires strong expertise in RHEL, middleware technologies (JBoss, WebLogic, MQ, Kafka), and databases (Oracle, MySQL), with a focus on system administration, troubleshooting, and performance tuning.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide administration, support, and optimization for Linux (RHEL) and middleware platforms (JBoss, WebLogic, MQ, Kafka). Perform installation, configuration, and upgrades of middleware environments to ensure stability and compliance. Support and maintain database integration with Oracle and MySQL environments. Troubleshoot and resolve complex middleware and Linux issues in production and post-build environments. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver end-to-end solutions for business and infrastructure requirements. Ensure middleware and Linux environments follow best practices for security, availability, and performance. Provide performance tuning and capacity planning for Linux servers and middleware platforms. Automate and optimize routine administration tasks using Unix scripting and SQL. Participate in post-build validation, deployment support, and incident resolution. Contribute to documentation of procedures, configurations, and operational guidelines.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Experience:

6-9 years in Linux and middleware engineering roles.

Platforms/Products:

RHEL, JBoss, WebLogic, MQ, Kafka.

Server/Database Expertise:

Oracle, MySQL.

Languages:

Unix scripting, SQL.

Operating Systems:

Unix/Linux. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in complex enterprise environments. Hands-on experience with middleware integration and support
