Open Position: Senior Manager, Credit & Risk Modeling (Financial Institution)

One of the top Financial Institutions in Malaysia is hiring for Senior Manager, Credit & Risk Modeling to join team and be based in the Kuala Lumpur office.

Key responsibilities include:

-Contribute to all aspects of credit risk model development and deployment including design, coding, testing, validation and review process covering IFRS 9 impairment models, forecasting models and stress testing models

-Lead the projects covering evaluation, design and implement policies, procedures and strategies to effectively deploy and execute credit risk models and processes, consistent with Bank regulatory requirements and/or market practice across credit risk model delivery

-Perform reviews of credit risk model deployment and execution frameworks, including gathering business requirements, assessing conceptual designs, examining governance and controls, and testing outcomes

-Work closely with the other department to expand the range of services and solutions aligning to the risk models and parameters

-Stay updated with the current technical and industry developments in the field of credit risk management, deployment and implementation

-Having experience supporting Retail or Wholesale Banking with proficiency using SAS Programming tool would be an added advantage
