About the Role The Data Architect/Modeler is responsible for translating the enterprise business
needs into conceptual, logical, and physical data models. He/she provides
guidance and expertise in building data platforms incorporating modern
architecture on streaming, APIs, others. He/She provides expertise on data
modeling tools, techniques, and best practices. He/she will lead design and
implementation of data architecture and data modeling solutions to support
business intelligence, analytics model development and other business
requirements across countries under group managed markets.

He/She must also possess solid knowledge in data governance, data architecture. He/She must be able to work independently and collaborate effectively across different geo locations and technical teams.

Responsible for architectural, infrastructure, and interface design, standards, guidelines, issues, and solutions considerations for an end-to-end data platform and analytics usage. This includes:
o Design systems to support flow of data based on business requirements and needs of the organisation.
o Identify database needs, develop blueprints based on user needs and create logical and physical design.
o Design and build data access, security measures, and framework based on user needs and adhering to security standards of AIA
o Design and document data interfaces and movement including aggregations, data transformation, and consumption of data to users and front-end applications (through API)
o Provide guidance to address issues on data migration (cleaning, mapping, validation) and data quality
o Documents data interfaces and movement which includes frequency of movement, data transformations, and any aggregation or calculations
o Plan and design modern data architecture needs such as real-time data movement, data maturity framework, data roadmap
o Define and govern data modelling and design standards, tools, best practices.
o Able to build/develop conceptual, logical, and physical data models based on business, user, and application requirements.
o Build logical design of how databases will link to each other and flow of data between stages
o Able to integrate business strategy in crafting data architecture design, strategy, and roadmap to deliver business outcomes
o Evaluates and/or manage third-party suppliers and contractors.
o Work closely with the enterprise architects, cloud architects, and integration architect to create and maintain IT-wide architecture standards on systems and data flows.
o Analyse the business impact that certain technical choices may have on a client\xe2\x80\x99s business processes
o Supervises and guides development teams
o Evaluates project constraints to find alternatives, alleviate risks, and perform process re-engineering if required

Minimum Job Requirements:

o Degree: College/University Degree
o Fields of Study: Preferably Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Business
o Industry: N/A
Years of Experience: Minimum of 3 years as Business Systems Analyst
o Technical Skills: Understands technologies as they are used in the organization. Able to understand technology impacts.
o Certifications / Licenses: N/A
