Develop and lead the overall strategic direction for the
Environment, Health, Safety, and Facilities (EHSF)
function, ensuring alignment with company goals.
Provide strong leadership and mentorship to the EHSF team by setting objectives, conducting performance reviews, and supporting professional growth.
Present regular reports to senior management covering facility operations, regulatory compliance, project updates, and budget performance.
Oversee the preparation and management of the
annual operating and capital budgets
for the EHSF department, promoting fiscal discipline and cost efficiency.
Plan and supervise
facility expansion, renovation, and construction projects
, including budgeting, scheduling, regulatory submissions, and contractor management.
Ensure smooth and efficient operations of all facilities, infrastructure, and critical systems such as
electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and water systems
to minimize unplanned downtime.
Develop and implement
preventive and predictive maintenance programs
to enhance reliability and longevity of equipment.
Lead
sustainability and environmental initiatives
to increase energy efficiency, reduce waste, and minimize the company's environmental impact.
Establish, implement, and enforce
corporate EHS policies and procedures
in compliance with local and international standards (e.g., OSHA, ISO 14001, ISO 45001).
Monitor departmental expenses, analyze variances, and apply cost-saving measures without compromising safety or operational quality.
Serve as the
primary liaison with regulatory bodies
, ensuring full compliance with environmental and workplace safety regulations.
Track and evaluate
EHS performance metrics and incident reports
, driving continuous improvement across all operations.
Job Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in
Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Occupational Safety & Health
.
At least
15 years of experience
in
EHS and Facilities management
, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
In-depth knowledge of
facility operations, maintenance, and plant systems
.
Strong understanding of
EHS regulations
and
international safety and environmental standards
.
Proven skills in
decision-making, problem-solving, and project leadership
.
Proactive, results-oriented, and hands-on
leadership approach with the ability to drive operational excellence.
