JOB TITLE: Yard Fabrication Senior Manager

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Strong advocate for quality construction installations and ensuring that things are constructed in the right way, the first time, in adherence to project and corporate quality assurance policies and procedures.
• The Yard Fabrication Manager works to a 6 month look ahead schedule and supports the Fabrication sub-contractor by removing constraints, assist in the development of their construction schedule, agrees to a construction sequence (path of construction), and confirms that the contractors have the materials, engineering deliverables, tools, and resources required for successful execution and complete delivery within the required time frame.
• Ensure Area Workface Planning (AWP) is prepared well in advance and implemented.
• Prepare 90 days and 3-weeks look-ahead plans, and implements work in agreed sequence.
• Fully accountable for the budget of construction resources allocated for the project.
• Verify the Fabrication Subcontractor's execution plan at an early stage and approve only if it aligns with Petrofac deliverables (documents and materials).
• Challenge Fabrication Subcontractor for a more efficient execution plan inline with schedule, safety and quality requirements.
• Participates in project model reviews and constructability reviews and provide necessary inputs.
• Plan and follow up the mobilization, site staffing.
• Plan heavy lift sequencing, fabrication scope, laydown requirements, equipment and fabricated items delivery sequencing, equipment and tool requirements, demobilization, etc.
• Review/approve all subcontractor documentation.
• Generates regular progress reports for review by project management.
• Monitors subcontractor's performance and contributes to project evaluation and close-out reports.
• Ensure solutions and responses are provided to all Site Technical Queries raised by fabrication subcontractor.
• Maintains good working relations with Fabrication subcontractor and client throughout the project.
• In charge of interphase with Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) supplier's scope at Fabrication Yard.
• Coordinates with Completions team and handover completed work in agreed sequence.
• Prepare for Hook up Campaign during execution phase well ahead of the loadout.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

15 years of experience in offshore fabrication Yards.

Bachelor's degree in engineering.
