Company overview
This is a Bursa listed Construction Group with presence in Southeast Asia and has the ambitious growth plan to expand further across Asia. With continued growth plans, they are looking to hire a hands-on and entrepreneurial Senior Manager/Manager, Finance to join the Group’s Finance team.

The new role
Reporting directly to the Finance Director, you will lead a team overseeing financial and management reporting, month-end closing, ensuring compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements and managing the year-end financial audit. You will be responsible for the preparation of the annual plan, cashflow reporting and variance analysis and will be a key business partner to support business operations, providing insightful analysis, modelling and forecasting for new business projects and their effects on the balance sheet and P&L.

Requirements to succeed
The successful candidate must hold a Chartered Accountant certificate, with 8-10 years’ relevant work experience, ideally with a blend of external audit and commercial experience gained from a construction industry background. You should have team management experience and will be an experienced user of enterprise accounting and business intelligence tools. You will have strong all-round experience in financial accounting and group reporting, with experience in cross-functional partnering and business improvement projects.
