Senior Manager, Facilities & Compliance

Job description

This rapidly expanding company is seeking a Senior Facilities Manager to oversee their warehouse operations in Selangor.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise the distribution center, ensuring the warehouse facility\'s safety, compliance, quality control, and technical aspects.
• Delegate cleaning and maintenance tasks, monitor safety and cleanliness, and schedule inspections and repairs.
• Handle day-to-day facility operations, collaborate on budgeting with building owners and upper management.
• Develop and implement health and safety plans, enforce policies, and assess practices and facilities for legal adherence.
• Conduct training, monitor compliance, inspect equipment, investigate incidents, and propose solutions.
• Oversee quality control in outbound processes and inspections.
• Collaborate with department managers to identify security needs and implement security strategies.
• Supervise, recruit, and train security personnel, manage the security operations budget, and ensure compliance with company policies.
• Stay updated on new security technologies and advancements.
• Maintain accountability through safety, compliance, and facilities KPI dashboard.
• Act as a key representative to all stakeholders for logistics operation.

Skills & Experience Required:

• Behavioral: Possess good personal attributes, communication, motivational, initiative, continuous improvement, quality mindset, technical, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.
• Hold a Bachelor\'s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field.
• Have 10-15 years of technical or engineering experience.
• Possess system knowledge in SAP or WMS.
• Exhibit strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Proficient in MS Office applications (Word, Access, PowerPoint, Excel).
