Since 2020, it has been part of Johnsonville, a leading processed meat company from Wisconsin, USA. This acquisition strengthens Johnsonville's foothold in Southeast Asia and enables access to global foodservice clients such as quick-service restaurants and HORECA services. Johnsonville aims to utilize PrimaBaguz's halal expertise to expand into growing markets in Asia and the Middle East.
Responsibilities
Channel Strategy & Growth
Develop and implement the foodservice channel strategy to achieve revenue, volume, and profitability targets.
Scale foodservice through strong distributor management
Identify new business opportunities within HORECA, Bakery Catering and Distributor partners.
Build strong relationships with key customers, distributors, and industry partners.
Drive category growth through tailored solutions and customer engagement.
Sales & Customer Management
Lead negotiations, contracts, and JBP (Joint Business Plans) with strategic accounts.
Ensure effective execution of sales programs, promotions, and activations in the foodservice channel.
Monitor customer performance, market trends, and competitor activity to drive competitive advantage.
Provide key customers with insights, innovations, and solutions to strengthen partnerships.
Team Leadership & Development
Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing foodservice sales team.
Drive accountability and clear KPIs across the team.
Collaborate with R&D on menu application.
Foster cross-functional collaboration with Marketing, Supply Chain, and Finance to deliver end-to-end solutions.
Operational Excellence & Planning
Ensure accurate forecasting, sales planning, and pipeline management.
Track sales performance and deliver regular business reviews to management.
Manage budgets, trade spending, and ROI for the channel.
Ensure compliance with company policies, commercial practices, and food safety regulations.
Education
Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, or related field; MBA preferred.
Experience
10+ years of commercial experience in FMCG or food industry, with at least 5 years in foodservice channel leadership
.
Experience managing distributor networks is an advantage.
