POSITION GENERAL SUMMARY

• Lead in investment opportunities and solutions. Analyse investments and divestment strategies, risk frameworks, and performance measures

ESSENTIAL POSSITION FUNCTION

• Lead and monitor project appraisal/ feasibility/ due diligence exercise of new investment; merger and acquisition; divestitures.
• Evaluate and execute investment opportunities including performing industry and business analysis, conducting and overseeing due diligence exercise, deal structuring, terms negotiation, and financial modeling
• Generate ideas regarding potential investments, creative transaction structures, and appropriate solutions that help lead to successful transactions
• Manage key transaction workstreams including syndication with internal cross-functional teams and third party advisors to deals are closed completely
• Negotiate and engage in discussions with external parties when undertaking new investments
• Monitor and liaise with financial and legal advisors or another equity partner on the investments to ensure compliance
• Monitor financing/refinancing exercise on the existing and new company investment
• Manage and advise the timing of contract renewal and termination accordingly
• Lead the team by providing guidance, coaching in building a motivated team that supports the corporate vision.

EducationExternal

• Recognised Degree in Finance/Accounting/Economics/related
• Minimum 7 years exposure in ventures capital/investments/audit/risk/finance reportings roles with solid knowledge in financial analysis and modelling

Relevant IndustriesExternal

• Recognised Degree with minimum 7 years relevant experience.
