Job Description




Duties and responsibilities


  • Operational Excellence & Leadership:
  • Combines operational (hands-on) work with people management, including set-up and develop shared service/ SSC team in the respective area of responsibility and building up the core team that drives customer satisfaction, process efficiency and working capital reduction at the highest standards.
  • Responsible for the KPI performance and Service Level Agreements (SLAs) of SSC hub in Malaysia in the respective area of responsibility.
  • Responsible for interaction/ alignment with other stakeholders to reach conjoint targets in the respective area of responsibility.
  • Coordinates and manages daily service operations for workforce admin processes and services demand in the respective area of responsibility.
  • Acts as a coach to solve personal issues and strengthen technical and personnel capabilities of subordinates.
  • Ensures effectiveness of team operation to maintain and improve service levels, demand management and resource allocation.
  • Maintains quality standards within the process service team.
  • Acts as a contact person when updating policies or introducing new procedures and standards.
  • Processes & Policy:
  • Responsible for creating or updating policies, procedures and standards, process documentation, training material and reconciliation with boarding areas in the respective area of responsibility.
  • Responsible for process analysis and identification of improvement potentials in processes in the respective area of responsibility.
  • Provides input and feedback to global process owners on improvement of processes and tools.
  • Projects / Initiatives / Programs:
  • Leads and supports HR projects within SSC which may be necessary to implement the concept (e.g. installation or implementation of new technologies, resulting process and IT adaptations etc.) in the respective area of responsibility.
  • Supports the SAP and Success Factor Rollout Projects in the respective area of responsibility.
  • In addition to the listed tasks in the area of responsibility, there is an obligation to carry out individual orders on the instructions of the supervisor, which essentially belong to their activity or result from the operational necessity.

Professional competencies


  • Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Business Administration, Human Resource Management, or relevant field.
  • 4+ years of relevant experience in Workforce Administration using service management principles. HR knowledge of regional practices related to Workforce Administration highly preferred.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in leading projects and developing standardized processes.
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge in HR SuccessFactors and HR Cloud Systems required.
  • Experience working in inter-cultural teams / projects.
  • Fluent English and one additional major regional language (Malay, Chinese, Japanese, Vietnamese, or Hindi) required.
  • Extensive knowledge of HR policies.
