We pledge to make Prudential a place where you can Connect, Grow, and Succeed.The incumbent will be leading the Operations Governance function which serves as a centralized unit tasked with offering oversight and support regarding operational risk and control across all Operations processes. In this role, the incumbent is expected to collaborate with business process owners and 2nd line team in managing risk, incident, audit and compliance related activitiesPRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Facilitate and support the review and oversight of Risk Register and Risk & Control Self-Assessment activities by business process owners
• Detection of potential risks at its earliest point possible
• Perform regular controls assurance/ testing of key controls mitigating Operational Risks
• Support the oversight and challenge of business process owner\xe2\x80\x99s execution of Internal Operational Risk Events and related Root Cause Analysis.
• Develop/ update procedures or templates, where required to ensure consistency in practice execution of Operations governance related activities
• Champion all operational risk policies and guidelines as per Group and local regulatory standards
• Monitor and track existing incidents and audit activities to ensure timely closures and no further escalation
• Ensure preventive and corrective measures for incidents and audits are implemented or executed accordingly.
• Conduct management / stakeholders update / presentations on Operations Governance related matters

JOB SPECIFICATION:

• Experience in Operational Risk Management or specific Operational Risk domains (1LOD or 2LOD)
• Experience in performing Risk & Control Assessments and/or Controls Testing
• Familiarity with Operational Risk Management Framework in a banking/ financial services environment
• Experience in performing Quality Assurance/ oversight activities
• Experience in managing a team
