About our client

Our client is a US listed MNC in the health and wellness business. There are seeking Senior Manager for APAC responsible for their real estate portfolio and project management. This position is based in the Global Business Services Centre in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

About the responsibilities

The role is a senior individual contributor role reporting to the VP, Finance and Strategy for APAC.

Primary responsibilities are:

Co-ordinate and manage all transactions relating to Real Estate for the APAC region including

• real estate managed by third party service providers, expansion of access points and infrastructure projects
• assessment of potential cost savings and location opportunities,
• development and enhancement of the APAC real estate strategic plan
• driving towards a strategic and effective real estate program

Project management.

• Manage projects (which includes new business set-ups, business expansions, company growth initiatives, innovation initiatives and restructures) with cross functional team members, within time constraints and budget.

• Responsible for the scope of project and the team members

The requirements

• Degree qualified with minimum of 8 years of related experience in managing a commercial real estate portfolio in the region
• Strong communication & interpersonal skills with ability to negotiate lease agreement terms, legal contracts, co-ordinate and partner with multiple stakeholders.
• Some accounting experience and strategic in outlook i.e. possess good grasp of the company\'s real estate needs, conversant with financial feasibility studies and basic knowledge of accounting for leases
• Travelling of about 5% a year
