Senior Sales Manager supports the Sales Management Team in driving revenue for the hotel by assisting in the development and implementation of sales strategies, maintaining client relationships, and ensuring targets for occupancy and profitability are met.
Key Responsibilities
Assist the Sales Manager in leading the sales team to achieve revenue goals.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities through networking, sales calls, and marketing initiatives.
Support in building and maintaining relationships with key clients, corporate accounts, and travel agents.
Assist in coordinating with other departments (e.g., marketing, operations) to ensure the smooth delivery of services to clients.
Help monitor competitor activities and market trends to adjust sales strategies accordingly.
Prepare and maintain sales reports, forecasts, and track performance against set targets.
Support in the planning and execution of sales events, promotions, and other activities to drive bookings.
Requirements
Proven experience in hotel sales or hospitality management.
Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
Ability to collaborate and work effectively with team members and other departments.
Knowledge of market trends and the ability to assist in developing effective sales strategies.
Familiarity with hotel management software and booking systems.
Candidate who can speak multi-language will have an added advantage
