Be Our Senior Manager, Software Development As Senior Manager, Software Development, you are responsible for leading the team to deliver high-quality products on time and within budget, while also driving innovation and continuous improvement in software development practices. Our focus is on delivering a mobile phone lifecycle experience not limited to Trading, Financing and Insurance. What Role Will You Play in Shaping CompAsia\'s Future Manage regional software development activities and software support by collaborating with each team leads, developers, support team and business users. Liaising with stakeholders such as management, vendors, and end-users regarding project requirements. Work with system analyst, developers and testers to ensure delivery of software as per agreed specifications. Manage daily sprints with team leads and collaborate towards removing any impediments or challenges faced by the team. Manage the day-to-day activities and ensure issues are responded and resolved within the agreed timeframe. Motivate team members to succeed in a fast-paced collaborative environment. Conduct technology / solution evaluation and recommend appropriate solution to the business team. Discuss and finalize resource allocation with Head of Technology and assign necessary tasks to the team. Ensure the assigned software developments work are delivered on-time and within scope. Implementing document control policies and secure code policies. Able to assist the team on technical escalation and system design / architecture challenges. Able to provide advise and guidelines to the team on system performance improvement. Able to provide new ideas and solutions in line with current technological trends and future innovative solutions. Monitoring project progress and implementing changes where necessary. Ensuring compliance with IT security policies, organizational policies, procedures, and standards. What Qualifications and Experience Will You Bring to Excel in This Role BS in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Engineering or related field, or equivalent work experience 3+ years of experience in leading software development team of 8-10 people or more. 5+ years of experience as software developer / team lead in customized software or app building environment in either PHP stack or MERN / MEAN stack. Have 2+ experience in handling scrum, sprint planning and retrospective. Understanding of software development life cycle and secure code development life cycle. Experience in cloud infrastructure platform such as AWS, Azure or GCP will be added advantage. Exposure to AI based technologies, machine learning or creation of data pipeline will be preferable. Strong leadership, organizational, and time management skills. Good verbal and written communication skills. Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills.
