Senior Manager - SSC AR Team Lead

Duties and responsibilities

  • Responsible for overseeing and managing the challenging daily operations of B Braun\'s AR shared service hub for Asia Pacific including incoming payment processing, closing, dispute & collection management as well as credit management.
  • Responsible to build a dynamic team by creating, leading, and coaching the team in accordance with the group strategy.
  • Ensure that high quality financial services are provided in accordance with the KPIs defined with management and stakeholders (e.g. DSO, overdue receivables, timely booking of incoming payments, clarification of old items on customer accounts together).
  • Cultivate a continuous improvement culture by analyzing processes, managing risks and identifying potential process improvements especially regarding standardization and automation.
  • Lead and manage projects by closely cooperating with various teams across functions and moderating workshops.
  • Manage country migration projects for Accounts Receivable as part of the roll-out of the shared service concept.
  • Support hard close and year-end closing processes by timely delivery and execution of accounting statements in accordance with the applicable accounting standards.
  • Participate in the technical management consulting team of SAP rollout sub-projects.
  • Closely align and cooperate with the management of other regional and global SSC hubs.
Professional competencies
  • Posses at least a Bachelor\'s degree in Accounting, Finance, IT or similar.
  • Must have 5 to 10 years\' accounting experience in multi-national corporate (MNC) organization with at least 2 years\' experience in managing a team.
  • Good to have experience in Shared Service setting.
  • Strong knowledge of process analysis, process management and governance and can work under pressure.
  • Excellent communication, presentation and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong knowledge in Account Receivables process and SAP FI is preferred.
  • Proficient in other foreign languages like Japanese, Korean, Chinese, Hindi and Thai is an added advantage.
