Job Description

• Diploma/bachelor degree in mechanical design, mechanical engineering and related field
• Proficiency in 2D design software (CAD) and 3D design software (SolidWorks, Autodesk Inventor)
• Min 3 years\' experience in mechanical of Factory Automation/Machinery/Engineering Tooling
• Hand-on experience in field engineering works is an advantage
• Strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles and practices
• Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in design work

Responsibilities

• Create detailed mechanical designs, drawings, and specifications for machinery & automation project
• Design and test of prototypes tooling or jig to validate design concept
• Calculate budgetary cost for proposal to client
• Meeting with client to understand their requirements
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, act as bridge between client and our engineering & manufacturing team
• Communicate design concepts and progress to stakeholders and management
• Identify and address design issues arise during manufacturing process and provide solutions
