Provide day-to-day technical support and perform routine administration tasks fornetwork infrastructure equipment, including but not limited to switches, routers,firewalls, and wireless access points.
Install and configure new Cisco switches and wireless access points based on client's project plan or request.
Coordinate with Infineon nominated cabling contractors to support passive cabling work, including inspection and validation of workmanship upon job completion.
Provide second-tier analysis and resolution planning for recurring or aged issues,including documentation of root cause and workaround.
Perform day-to-day operational tasks, including incident resolution and execution of approved change requests.
Perform preventive maintenance tasks and recommend performance tuning actions to improve network stability.
Initiate and manage escalation with hardware or software vendors for critical technical support issues.
Maintain up-to-date network documentation using approved documentation tools
Perform asset lifecycle tracking and updates in Configuration Management Database(CMDB)
Liaise with internal IT groups and project teams to support network-related deliverablesand implementation milestones.
Support client's regional team setup activities, including provision of hands-on NetworkOnsite Support Services as directed by client's project manager.
Provide local on-call support outside regular business hours for network-related production incidents.
Requirements:
Education & Experience:
Bachelor's degree OR Diploma in Network Engineering / IT / Computer Science, or related field.
Minimum 5 years of experience in C#/.NET development with full project lifecycle involvement.
Prefer have Cisco Certified Network Associate/Professional (CCNA/CCNP) certification.
Willing to workstation at client's location at Kulim, Kedah.
Technical Skills:
Networking infrastructure: LAN, WAN, WLAN, VPN, routing & switching, VLANs.
Network devices & security: routers, switches, firewalls, IDS/IPS, load balancers
Good communication & soft skills: ability to work across teams, prioritise tasks, operate under pressure.
Monitoring, trouble-shooting, system performance optimization, capacity planning.
