Job Description

Adecco\'s Banking and Financial Services Team is recruiting on behalf of a client, a world-leading Japanese Bank, for the position of Assistant Manager, Liquidity Risk.

The job scope is as follows:

\xc2\xb7 Ensure that sound ALM and Liquidity Risk practices are in place.

\xc2\xb7 Prepare ALM and Liquidity Risk reports on timely basis for ALM Committee and Board Committee.

\xc2\xb7 Monitor, analyse and report ALM and Liquidity risk to ensure it\'s within the allowed limits or trigger points. Timely escalation of any triggers.

\xc2\xb7 Participate in system upgrades/enhancement and ALM/Liquidity risk related projects.

\xc2\xb7 Support manager to identify, recommend and develop solutions for continuous improvement to streamline processes, increase efficiency and effectiveness within the team.

\xc2\xb7 Ensure Parent Bank and BNM requirements in relation to ALM and Liquidity Risk are adhered at all times.

\xc2\xb7 Keep abreast with any new developments on BNM and Parenk Bank.

\xc2\xb7 Review and maintain the policies, procedures and methodology related to ALM and liquidity risk management.

\xc2\xb7 Assist manager or HOD in managing regulator and internal/external audit.

\xc2\xb7 Produce the Liquidity Risk stress test.

\xc2\xb7 Perform other related duties, as assigned by Head of RMD and Management for the purpose of ensuring an efficient and effective working environment.

Job Requirements

\xc2\xb7 Degree in Economics, Finance, Banking, Statistics, Actuarial Science, Mathematics or other related or relevant field.

\xc2\xb7 Five (5) years of experience in Liquidity Risk and Funding Management.

\xc2\xb7 Sound numerical and analytical skill. Good in communication in both written and verbal, report writing and preparation as well as organization skill.

\xc2\xb7 Able to work effectively in a collaborative environment.

\xc2\xb7 Comfortable with Microsoft Excel.

\xc2\xb7 Certified bank risk professional would be an added advantage.
