We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented

Senior Operations Engineer

to support offshore production activities and drive operational excellence within TotalEnergies EP Malaysia.

Activites

Your Impact

As a key member of our Field Operations team, you will:Coordinate and support offshore production operations, including start-up, maintenance, and inspection activities. Ensure accurate and timely data management in accordance with the Company's systems (SAP, CMMS). Monitor and manage offshore logistics and support contracts (vessels, manpower, catering, maintenance). Interface with internal teams (Projects, Subsurface, Drilling, Procurement) and external stakeholders (PETRONAS, MPM, JV Partners). Prepare and deliver operational reports, presentations, and updates for internal and external use. Contribute to emergency response efforts and ensure compliance with HSSE standards and regulatory requirements. Support planning and execution of shutdowns and downtime activities.

What We Are Looking For

We seek a dynamic operations engineer with the technical expertise and communication skills to thrive in a fast-paced offshore environment. To succeed in this role, you'll need:A Bachelor's Degree or Professional Certificate in Engineering, Science, or a related field. Minimum 5 years (with Degree) or 10 years (with Certificate) of experience in the Oil & Gas industry. Strong analytical skills and experience in operations coordination, logistics, and shutdown planning. Solid understanding of HSSE regulations and offshore production systems. Proficiency in MS Office and operational software (e.g., SAP, CMMS). Excellent communication and presentation skills in English.
