Senior Payroll Executive

Job Description


To be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely processing of payroll transactions, maintaining compliance with relevant regulations, and providing exceptional service to employees.

Payroll Processing: To execute end-to-end payroll processing, including data entry, calculation of wages, deductions, and taxes. To verify and reconcile payroll data to ensure accuracy.

Compliance: Stay informed about local, state, and federal labor laws and tax regulations. Ensure payroll practices comply with relevant legislation.

Documentation and Recordkeeping: To maintain accurate records of employee information, payroll transactions, and tax withholdings. To prepare and submit reports as required by management and regulatory authorities. Ensure an efficient, precise and updated staff database (both in system and hardcopy), and keep such data confidential;

Communication: To respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll matters in a timely and professional manner. To collaborate with HR and finance teams to address payroll-related issues.

Benefits Administration: To administer employee benefits, ensuring accurate deductions and compliance with benefit policies.

Payroll System Management: To utilize and maintain payroll software/systems to process payroll efficiently.

Auditing and Reconciliation: To conduct regular audits to identify and rectify discrepancies in payroll processing. To reconcile payroll accounts to ensure accuracy and compliance.

Education: Bachelor\'s degree in Finance, Accounting, Human Resources, or related field.

Experience: Min 5 years proven experience in payroll processing and administration. Familiarity with payroll software and systems.

Knowledge: Understanding of tax laws, labor regulations, and payroll best practices. Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.

Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail in payroll processing.

Communication Skills: Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

Problem-solving: Ability to identify and resolve payroll-related issues efficiently.
