Smart Innovative Operations (SIO) Centre:
Using digital technology to render expertise borderless!

Enables the remote management of production for 18 Air Liquide Large Industries production units spanning eight countries across the region, as well as optimizing energy consumption and improving reliability at these sites, by leveraging predictive analytics and digital technologies.

As the Senior Performance Analytics Engineer, you optimize remotely multiple plants production, efficiency, anticipate reliability or performance deviation and provide suggestions/supports to site teams. You are responsible for a specific geography in the SEA/NEAPac region, striving to achieve the Best Economical Point by leveraging data-driven optimization and performing the energy assessment to achieve the next-level of operation efficiency.

How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?

  • Responsible for Business Development support : You develops the tools/ extracts the metrics (decision enablers) from the data as instructed by the LEAD Center Manager.
  • Manage plant efficiency/operation/reliability optimization.
  • Running Data Monitoring and troubleshooting: You proactively monitor plant running data, identify the efficiency improvement points, give the solution and lead the related project implement. Support local team for operation related troubleshooting when required.
  • Yearly Efficiency target making and implementation: You are responsible for the yearly efficiency projects identification, alignment with related stakeholders (entity team & other technical support team) during the budget phase and responsible for the on-target delivery throughout the whole year.
  • Plant running mode optimization: You are responsible for overall plant optimization according to energy/feed/products price change, giving best running mode and deployed related projects.
  • Reporting: You are responsible monthly efficiency merit calculation and reporting, communicate with managers and local stakeholders to validate the merit numbers.
  • Advanced Process Control Support: You will support advanced process control project deployment, leading control strategy design and deployments.
  • Support/mentor new/junior team members: You will be the coach/mentor for the juniors/newcomers on related knowledge.

Are you a MATCH?

  • 5 to 10 years combined experience in Air Separation Units (ASU) knowledge, ROCC team, energy domain, reliability department.
  • Advanced education in chemical engineering and /or process control or other majors related.
  • Must be very familiar with process, especially ASU knowledge. Familiar with the way to improve plant efficiency and reliability. Onsite process/operation engineer experience will be preferred
  • Strong data analysis skills, to identify the efficiency points
  • Familiar with key equipment operation or key knowledge, like compressor/process pump(anti-surge control, key parameters etc)
  • Advanced Process Control knowledge will be preferred
  • Yokogawa distributed control systems (DCS) knowledge will preferred.
  • Must have strong communicate skills.
